Here's my stab at red, white and blue for y'all. I've been wanting to introduce you to my new bike, Linus, who covers the "blue" portion of this Americana theme. Linus is named as such because that is the brand name and it just seemed like a good fit. The leather handlebars are ungodly luxurious to hold as I zoom around the city. I'm sure my butt feels the same about the leather seat, but, you know, I ride with clothes on so I can't really feel it. This bike is such an upgrade from the 70's cruiser I had before, which was heavy and creaky and slowly deteriorating. On Linus, I fly around the city, even when I'm peddling in wedges. Which is frequently.
And in the white category we have this polka-dot blouse from J.Crew Factory, which has proven to be quite the wardrobe staple. Polka dots are the perfect amount of print without being too busy. Also kind of in the white family are my new sandals, Dolce Vita via Gilt. They are a great height for all day every day but they still give my little legs some help. And they compliment my tan, which is probably the darkest I'll be all summer, sadly.
These pictures were snapped en route to Marlow & Daughters, where the mister and I picked up some sexy chorizo. We're making an effort to buy better quality meat when we can. Instead of picking up a pound of something at the conventional grocery store, we'll get a half pound at a more reliable butcher and supplement with vegetables.
Okay, enough serious business, let's watch a gif:

that gif is soo great lololol. adorbs. lets go bike riding soon!
